Great Grilled Cheese and Milkshakes!
Jun 2021 • Family
We didn't have a chance to tour Sweetwater Valley Farm, but when I told my grandson that their cafe served grilled cheese and milkshakes, he was all in! Yes, that is almost all they serve, but they do a great job and it's very affordable! We had the Meat Melt and the Big Cheese (with bacon, tomato, and pickles), which were both delicious! I tried their special Coconut Cream Pie Shake, which was a little more expensive, but totally worth it! We also purchased a couple of items from their small but quaint gift shop, including some of their homemade pimento cheese spread. We visited the Lost Sea Adventure in Sweetwater before we made our way to the Seed to Sandwich Cafe for lunch. Hopefully next time we'll have time to take the tour!

Loved the tour, food at the cafe, best milk shakes ever, and delicious cheese samples! Definitely will be back again especially if they extend the tour into the other barns.

Great visit

Fabulous tour led by an amazing informative guide! He was great in answering all questions including those from my 7 year old grand daughter. The entire operation is amazing. I have been a customer of the cheese store for 7 years but this was the first time I took the tour and it will not be the last as I will plan on taking guests whenn= they visit. A great cafe with wonderful sandwiches and shakes!!

Red Cow Tour--is so worth it!
May 2021
We loved the atmosphere and the friendly and informative staff! AND THE FOOD was amazing! The grilled cheese was a HIT across the board with our group and the milkshakes were DELICIOUS! The cafe, gift shop and cheese shop are FREE to get into just charged for what you purchase!

Red Cow Tour
May 2021
The Red Cow Tour is a interesting, informative and fun tour, I would recommend it for all age groups. You are going to come away having learned a lot, whether you are 10 years old or 60 years old. The whole experience at Sweetwater Valley Farm is great, from the tour, to lunch, they have the best grilled cheese sandwiches and milkshakes. There is plenty of "retail therapy" and the cheese store with the tasting bar is a must. This is a hidden gem in the small community of Philadelphia just outside of Sweetwater. I would highly recommend a visit.

Red Cow Tour is Great Family Fun!
Apr 2021
We did the Red Cow Tour at Sweetwater Valley Farm. Truly enjoyed seeing the process for milking cows and how they do everything on the farm from the seed to grow the food to making cheese. Amazing process. David was a wonderful tour guide. Bring the family - it is fun for kids and adults. The tour runs about an hour and then we headed back to buy wonderful cheese and drink fresh milk shakes!

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon and learn something too!

Book the tour in advance online to ensure you get the time you want.

Cheese, cows, wows!

My whole family loves this place. They have the best grilled cheese and milkshakes, made from milk produced right there on the farm! The tour is so cool, and then getting to browse all their myriad cheese flavors and curds... It’s a dairy lover’s dream! ❤️🥰🐄

Shakes & Sandwiches @ Sweetwater Valley Farm, worth the trip!
Feb 2021
Found this spot from the internet and visited yesterday. We purchased 2 of 'The Big Cheese' sandwiches, 1 chocolate shake and 1 strawberry cheesecake shake and everything was so delicious! My husband stated that the sandwich was the best grilled cheese he'd ever had! This sandwich has Benton's bacon (so yummy), bread and butter pickles, tomato slices, and lots of yummy cheese. You have several bread options, even gluten free, yet we choose sour dough and it was so good! We'll definitely be back! The milkshakes are probably the best I've ever had too; and of course I tasted my husband's strawberry cheesecake shake! They are a bit expensive, but well worth it! When COVID is over and they start the tours, we plan on taking the tour as well!

This is a must stop on our way to Gatlinburg Tennessee. We get cheese, fresh bread and elk sumner sausage to snack one while we our on our trip. Sometimes we only make it to the car and start snacking!!! The employees are always kind and helpful. You always leave with a smile on your face!!!!
