I've seen two events here. One was 2nd row, and the other was mid-way back. Both experiences were excellent. The venue is beautiful and the sound quality is superb. I would highly recommend this venue for a date night and an excuse to get dressed...More

Visited for the music of the Rolling Stones on a Sunday evening. We parked on surface parking (a public lot) adjacent to the symphony building. It was very convenient. The attendants were friendly and helpful, leading us to our seats. The setting was beautiful and...More

We have been to several concerts here and this place is AMAZING. It is so beautiful and there is not a bad seat in the house. A wonderful change to the larger louder venues. Give yourself a little time to wonder around, the building is...More

We have enjoyed the Schermerhorn location for the Nashville Symphony for 2 different productions. Verdi’s Requiem (May) and Symphony Under The Stars (September)& had an excellent time at both. The elegance of the facility is tip top. The Symphony and her conductor were well composed...More

The Schermerhorn Symphony Centre is a relatively recent creation, even though it is constructed in neo-classical style. It is only a hop, step and jump from the honky tonks on Broadway, but the Schermerhorn is mainly for the classics. The Centre is named for Kenneth...More

Went to see America and the place is fantastic. Great size, the sound was tremendous, and it's easy to get in and out of.

Once again we were enriched by an elegant experience in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The Nashville Symphony equally charmed and devastated us under the exquisite baton of Maestro Giancarlo Guerrero. Although we live two hours away we travel to hear this wonderful orchestra. The structure...More

We went to see Felix Cavaliere with the symphony. It was an excellent show. Felix sang all his hits (Rascals) and was so engaging with his wonderful stories. We had box seats that were nice and private. We were looking down on the orchestra which...More

Our 1st time visit, traffic (stuck on 1 block 40 min!) caused us to miss the start of the show - so park early! Discounted parking available through the Center. The venue is beautiful, the symphony lovely. So impressed that they have so many great...More

I never sat in those seats, but since the acoustics in the other areas is impeccable, I would bet it is great there, too. It would be almost like the sound sitting in the orchestra playing and you get to see every move of... More
Looking for suggestions, ideas on clothing options appropriate for the symphony. Taking into consideration the season and style of music to be performed. Going to see the music of Prince, starring Marshall Charloff. It is scheduled for November 8th. This will be my first time to attending a symphony hall and I want to make sure that I'm not under dressed. The only dress I own is a black knee length. I've worn it once. To my husband's funeral. Don't think I will ever wear it again. So, I'm thinking about skinny jeans or maybe palazzo pants. I love beautiful clothes but, rarely buy them because I spend most of the time in work clothes. The tickets are a special treat to myself and who knows how long it will be before I do something like this again. If anyone has any suggestions please help this old lady out!
