My wife and I went to this club based on the recommendation of a guy that used to play there. He said it had great Bluegrass music. We got there at 7:00 on a Thursday (they have parking in the back) and there were no...More
This was our first visit to the legendary Station Inn, and it did not disappoint. The Music City Doughboys played an awesome set of western swing in this relaxing place with great acoustics. We had a fine time on this spur-of-the-moment overnight stay in Nashville....More
The Station Inn is an institution in Nashville. Located close to the Thompson Nashville in The Gulch, this is for country and bluegrass purists. There is a cover charge, but it is worth it as you never know who will show up to jam!

We love to walk and we walked very long distances, all over the area, including late at night. Never a problem. We were stopped a couple of times by groups of locals asking if we were lost or needed help or would like them to call an Uber for us. They were very helpful - surprised to hear we enjoyed walking, but quick to tell us where all the local attractions where and the best places to eat etc.
