The history of horse racing started at this plantation which is fascinating in itself. The home and grounds are beautiful. The docents were very knowledgeable and interesting. There was a small group of visitors which made tour even better. History.

What a wonderful place to learn about the ups and downs, making and losing money with owning a plantation. The slave history was amazing, and sad, and the grounds were gorgeous- even on a cold day. Wish I could have sat on the porch all...More
