Spent the better part of a beautiful day walking around Andrew Jackson's home and learning more about this interesting president and his even more interesting wife Rachel. Worth the visit and take your time to see it all.

Was disappointed with the guides in the home, but thought the museum was fantastic, well done and the film was an honest portrait of Jackson. That was worth the price of admission. Was unable to tour the grounds due to the hard rain, but again,...More

The house was beautifull with old wallpaper, decoration and furnitures. The guides wear old clothes, you can visit a duell and collect cotton. A beautiful place of history. Andrew Jackson life shown in a film will be shown critically.

Excellent restoration of Andrew Jackson homestead, with audio and guided presentations to tell the story of this great american. They do not shy away from all the aspects of this incredible story. Get there before someone attempts to eliminate this location in history.

This is where Andrew Jackson lived before he became president. It costs $20 to spend time and view the property which includes the mansion with ordinal furniture upstairs and downstairs, the land, the slave cabins, his helpers cabin, and the cotton fields. They give you...More

I like that u don't have to walk thru the shop to exit like some places. The store has beautiful items related to history. It didn't feel like we were pressured w commercialism.
