You definitely know you're in Nashville, and SO want to have enough time take in each and every bar and restaurant that it's not fair! You also get a little of everything - feeling of Vegas with all the neon and inebriated folks coursing the...More
Located on the banks of the Cumberland River, the Victorian buildings are gorgeous!! Lots of chic restaurants.... lots of bars. I prefer roaming during the day, after dark it gets loud and rowdy (which is fine if that's what you like).
Love the way the city leaders have energized the downtown, while keeping the spirit of the old town. This place is filled with character. It invites you to linger and explore... And, there is always a place to eat and drink.
This whole district area is so beautiful with all of the lights and constant activity. There is something for everyone in the area. Love the "Holy Batman" Building (AT&T) that towers over everything. What a unique design. Biggest problem is finding affordable parking. Not going...More

It is fun to walk around the district and enjoy the live music from each bar. This is a lively place and gets busier at night. You can see the iconic Batman building and walk to Ryman from here. Very fun area.

Find a place to park and explore the area on foot. Walk across the pedestrian walkway which crosses the river, then walk around the Nissan stadium. Come back across and walk around 2nd Avenue and find a great place for lunch. Check out the shops and the Johnny Cash museum. Have fun in downtown Nashville!
It’s all downtown and within walking distance of each other. If you selected a place to stay in the immediate downtown area you would be good to go. Have fun. Nashville is one of the most fun cities to visit.
