The building was built in 1860 and is the oldest government building in Mornington and sits on the corner of main Street and The Esplanade adjacent to the more modern Police station. Across the road is the equally historic old Post office. The tourist Information...More

Whilst the courthouse is small it is well worth a visit as serves as the information centre & the volunteers (who sit up in the judges box but do come down!! ) are very helpful The jails out the back are pretty scary it must...More

The Information Centre is in a building dating back to 1860, making it the oldest of its type in the state. It was a Court House and has all the fittings for that purpose, but has a wealth of tourist brochures and maps, plus helpful...More
