I came across this waterfall earlier in the year while doing some research on the internet for waterfalls. I was waiting for the winter rains to come so that my visit would not be a disappointment. The falls are twin falls that cascade over basalt...More

Turpins Falls take a bit of work to find & be prepared to travel on unsealed roads. There is a small car park but no picnic or toilet facilities. Disappointingly there was a lot of rubbish littering the place and graffiti on every sign &...More

Was such a gorgeous waterfall/waterhole. Great viewing area but track is run down and weeds/prickles overgrown on track. Would be good with a tidy up. We took our 3yr and 16 month old. We had to walk single file both up and back because of...More

Twin falls cascading over rock, the view is rather different to most other waterfalls around. Short walk to the viewing platform. Access via unsealed road which was quite well-maintained. Worth looking at if around Kyneton area.

Easy walk to the viewing area down a few steep steps. You can go beyond the gate at your risk, but was fine smaller track. Met a couple fishermen at the bottom. Stating it's the highest he ever seen it. Plenty of water coming over...More

Lovely waterfall, down the beaten track. Its a lot nicer than any of the others in the area, although the area must not have had much rain recently as the waterfall wasn't really running. Still very peaceful and beautiful place to visit.

I had seen this place pop up a few times on my friends' instagrams, and on one really hot day a group of us decided to head down. We weren't disappointed. The road trip there is fun, if not a little dirty and bumpy (half...More

This place is quite hard on the car to get to. As others have mentioned it is a rough road so better for a larger car, we took our Yaris which was a mistake as it rattled all the way once we left the proper...More

After moving to the district just over 12 months ago we had heard about this spot the locals go to as somewhere to swim. With the huge rainfall we had in winter the falls had been flowing like crazy . We finally had time to...More

This amazing water hole found out in the middle of paddocks is just lovely. It is nice to explore or have a swim. Bring your inflatables and float around.

Lovely side trip from Kyneton takes about 15 mins, however be aware that you will need to travel over some corrugated dirt road for about the last 5 mins. The falls were lovely and the walk down to the observation deck manageable, going all the...More
