If you have a love for history then this is well worth the visit and a stay overnight. The Ghost tour is an added thrill or just take in part of Sydney's Tragic but what was required history to keep the colony and Sydney safe...More

The Quarantine Station is really interesting and gives a unique view into the history of Sydney and the people that came out on so many long sea voyages, of the diseases they faced ... and the cures they faced! It's very well preserved and maintained....More

Site is huge and full of history. We had a large room in the "Isolation section". There is no air conditioning and no pool, just the beach. Reception is at the top of the hill (with the free carpark) approx. 500m from the main buildings....More

We travelled for business and the setting is sensational. The room was fine, but not very noise proof. The big let down was the regularity of pick up busses to move around the venue due to its size, this was exacerbated by the poor weather...More

Thanks Snowy for a very informative history of the Manly Q Station. Even with your best efforts we didn't experience any ghoulish encounters but the tales of past inhabitants and the experiences of the less skeptic made for an entertaining tour. I would recommend this...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

Ferries leave from Circular Quay in Sydney to the Manly Pier, you can walk to the Quarantine station from the Manly Wharf but it is a fairly steep 40 minute walk.
