    Fantastic day
We paid for the VIP tour which cut out all the queues. It also meant we could go in and out of the areas without being stopped. It is very professional and well organised and even though I feel $270 was too much it was a one off experience I am glad we did. We were there 6 hours overall with a few breaks for coffee. Another tick on the bucket list ✅

Big thank you to John our tour guide at Graceland . He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Offered a one of a kind tour experience filled with memorable stories and personal connections. We celebrated my daughters sweet 16 and John went above and beyond making this experience special. We want to say thank you again to John and as Elvis would say, may god bless you the way he has blessed me.

Plenty to see, be prepared to wait in long lines.
We arrived to the Graceland complex about 11am. Our tickets allowed shuttle to the home at 1215 pm. We walked through some of the museums then returned to board the shuttle. Lots of waiting in line. Finally boarded the shuttle at 115pm. They didn’t seem very organized or efficient with the shuttles to/from Elvis’ home. The mansion is smaller than I thought it would be but the tour of the home and grounds is well done. We enjoyed it. Waited in line again for about 30 minutes to board another shuttle to return to the museum complex. All of the museums are well done. Plenty of gift shops. This is good to see but you wouldn’t need to experience it more than once.

    Absolutely Amazing!
Went to the Movie tour at Graceland. Our tour guide John was absolutely amazing. It was our 2nd trip and my “super fan” son had the most amazing time this go around. John was knowledgeable, even had some facts my son didn’t know and my son knows pretty much everything about Elvis. Thank you John for an amazing experience 💙.

    experience of a lifetime!
our tour guide john was so informative and very very nice the entire time and made sure to throughly talk about each exhibit and the elvis movie for those on the tour who may not have been as familiar. he let me open the front door to the mansion for everyone which was one of the coolest parts!! when he found out i was from tampa, he would point out any photos that were taken in tampa and we talked about the bridge that i live by being in follow that dream. he did such a good job informing us that there weren’t many questions asked throughout the tour. he was also very funny and good spirited and made the tour so enjoyable even after a long day. after our tour, john gave us dinner recommendations and told us how to pull up the king style, in a pink cadillac limousine and boy was he right, the food did not disappoint either. we can not wait to visit graceland again and we sure hope to have him as our tour guide again! john if you’re reading this, thank you so much for being so awesome to us the whole time, you really made our trip and we hope to see you again soon :) - jasmine & jessenia

    A bit crowded and pricey
VIP check in and ticket pick up staff were unfriendly. Staff at the entrance to the mansion was lovely. The tour starts out a bit squishy. Area has changed a lot since the early 80’s when I was last here. It’s a big commercial production $$$ machine now. I was touched to see the graves and especially Lisa Marie.

    Graceland Ultimate VIP Toyr
the Ultimate VIP tour is the best for the money. The tour guide we had Kylan was so awesome and fun made the tour more than just tour. Elvis Memphis complex is included and amazing Kylan made each of us feel like special guest. Taking tour with an actual person is so much better than Ipad and headphones. Plus you can go back to Mansion or Memphis campus unlimited same day. Ultimate includes lunch at Campus. Although only Vernon’s was only restaurant open, food was not very good and cold. but lunch includes meal with 2 sides drink and dessert. if you do the ultimate or Vip your ask for Kylan as your guide he’s best but everyone was so sweet, welcoming and nice!!!!

    A fun day!!!!
If you are an Elvis fan or just going to Memphis you need to see Graceland! We did the self-guided tour with no extras. There is a shuttle that takes you across the street to the mansion where you start. It's definitely a museum set in time. The house is fun to walk through as well as the grounds. Once done there, you take the shuttle back across the street where there are a number of different exhibits and buildings to walk through. The jumpsuit room was our favorite! You can see his cars, planes, military service, jumpsuits, records and so much more. Definitely plan to spend at least a few hours here if not the whole day. There are a few places to eat as well and several gift shops.

Lovely time spent at Graceland, found the house not too ostentatious but a true family home. Enjoyed the exhibitions and food at Gladys

An integral part of Memphis, this visit is an educational experience from start to finish, It was done very tastefully and as we visited off season there were times we were the only people in a room/exhibit, which was rather refreshing. We spent 6 hours visiting the house, the car museum (that Pink Cadillac!) Presley in the army, the Entertainer (so many amazing costumes on display!), making of movies, Elvis as a football fan as well as a Lisa Marie exhibit. I learned so much - and would say whether a fan of Elvis or not, he is so much part of the local culture, it has to be done and there is so much to see whatever the ticket price is you are not being ripped off. I didn't know Elvis was a twin, he loved horses, he was born poor, he liked racquetball, etc etc. Amazing.

NOTE - we paid for VIP tickets to skip the queues. There were no queues at all anywhere in February so don't bother with this option!

The best way to do Graceland is to not do Graceland. Most disgusting degrading, disappointing, disrespectful tour I've ever seen, by far. Rude, uninformed student operators prod you through like you're cattle. The iPad tour guide didn't add anything to the experience but was a distraction. Made me feel nauseated and degraded. Lots of waiting in lines. Cheesy video orientation. Cost wayyyy too much. The whole thing was a rotten memorial to the artist. Not worth a nickle. Minus one thousand stars.

Graceland is a must when visiting Memphis. It offers far more than just Elvis's home and grave. The house itself has been preserved to its 1970s look and is quite modest given the fame and fortune that Elvis had. Once you leave the house you cross a busy road to where a huge commercial site has been built to house Elvis's cars, motor bikes and aeroplanes. His stage costumes and many of his personal effects are also in separate buildings. Allow yourself at least 4/5 hrs to do it justice.
Just one tip.... if you are going there by taxi ask the cost of the journey first. It should be about $35 each way (4 persons) but beware some taxi drivers will try and charge you $60

I visited Graceland back in the late 70s not long after Elvis passed away. I was just a child, but I remember it. Last spring ('23) I found myself traveling through Memphis enroute to a wedding, and I made a point of stopping for the night just to revisit the place. While the home remains virtually unchanged, the exhibits—sharing elements of his life and career—have grown exponentially over the past decades! Parking was free, and there were multiple ticket options to choose from at various prices. I chose the ticket for a little over $80, and for that price I got to spend my entire day there exploring at my own leisure his collection of cars, his military service, his movie career, and his life as an award-winning entertainer, a traveler, a family man, and a legend. I even learned things about him I never knew before (like, he had his own football team!?) I dined at Gladys' Diner, strolled the lawns of Graceland, toured the home, visited museums and gift shops, listened to his music, and talked with other visitors from as far away as New Zealand and the Philippines. I loved the experience, and because of that I already have plans to return this May (this time, to bring my aging mother who knew him back in his "Louisiana Hayride" days). It was well worth every penny, and I'm sure my next trip there will be too. I'm grateful to the Presley Estate for opening the home to the public, maintaining all of it (which can't be cheap!), and sharing all of it with the world to enjoy.

It was so Humbling to be able to see where Elvis was born and grow up, there is a lovely area where you can go for a walk up to where there are 2 statues of Elvis as a young boy and as a man, highly recommended

Wanted to just see the house, couldn’t see it from the road, you have to pay $80 a person plus $10 parking to go into the compound and thru all the extra ‘displays / museums / attractions’. Turned around, not worth that kind of money, especially when it doesn’t seem to be helping the lifestyle for the people in the area. Makes those of us that were into Elvis and made him famous a little disgusted to see his legacy being abused / dishonored for the almighty dollar….
