As beautiful as we had read but the most important advice (tide permitting) is to keep walking along the beach. We were a bit mystified that everyone seemed to have stopped within 100 metres of the car park. But there’s a lot more if you...More

We were lucky to have a 7 day holiday in Fort William during the most glorious weather, explored Bonnie Scotland & spent a whole day at this glorious beach - it would rival any Greek or Spanish beach! Absolutely stunning. Kids loved the rock pools...More

Be ready to hike a bit but this place is worth it! Absolutely stunning and there are millions of sea shells. The water is blue and translucent with views for days. Absolutely worth the walk!

We found this beach during a recent visit to Fort William. It was the end of May bank holiday and the temperatures were soaring. The beach itself is faultless - comparable to many beaches in Greece and Cyprus I've visited. Endless white sands, perfect for...More

Arisaig another beautiful area that is completely spoiled with motorhomes, campervan, caravans, etc etc. I am so saddened at what has happened to this and many other beautiful areas of Scotland.

Wonderful white sands and all to ourselves! Easily accessible from the car park and local road, sheltered spots to sit in the dunes. Great views over to the small isles.

Hi, don’t know if anyone actually owns the beach but we did hear that the small car park was owned by a local lady and that she was shutting it. Wonder if she has anything to do with it?

Yes. Just google Camusdarach self-catering and you should get a number of options. Also try Morar and Arisaig
