Wonderful white sands and all to ourselves! Easily accessible from the car park and local road, sheltered spots to sit in the dunes. Great views over to the small isles.

Beautiful walk along this beach made famous by the film Local hero, and I am sure strolled by very brave S.O.E. and other wartime personnel before there journey to the war zone of Europe in the second world war

Hi, don’t know if anyone actually owns the beach but we did hear that the small car park was owned by a local lady and that she was shutting it. Wonder if she has anything to do with it?

Yes. Just google Camusdarach self-catering and you should get a number of options. Also try Morar and Arisaig
