RSPB Mersehead great day out variety of birds excellent ,walks around reserve great ,hides overlooking the lakes clean and comfortable The staff at the site very knowledgeable and keen to help, small cafe on site serving hot drinks, and will be returning

If you are interested in wildlife then this is a good place to visit. A decent sized walk taking in a couple of hides and the beach as well as a conservatory area at the visitor centre where you can relax and see birds feeding....More

we visit this reserve each year lovely woodland walks to the beach or the hides watching this years lapwing with there young have a cup of tea at the visitor centre and watch the birds feeding on the feeders

There are 2 trails, the wetland trail is 2 miles with 2 hides and the coastal trail which is 2.5 miles and includes the shoreline. Full information and a map are available at the visitor centre near the car park. Hot drinks... More
