The team here are great. I chose this as a surprise for my daughter whilst we were away camping and she loved it. The team are great with children and are very knowledgable. The only problem was my daughter now wants a horse. Good luck...More

Absolutely fabulous riding centre! No hint of pretentiousness and wonderfully friendly staff! Set in a beautiful area right by Dalbeattie forest! Gorgeous horses... Could not have asked for more! I will be back. Thank you Barend :)

Great riding school offering something for everyone. Staff are very friendly and horses are great. Well worth a go.

first time on a horse in years and the staff were great, horses were well looked after and loved. we trekked through Dalbeattie forest for an hour and it was perfect. I recommend it to all interested or in the area.

Barend is a lovely, happy little stables with well looked after horses. It is a stables first and last, so don't expect gift shops and cafes. The ladies taking the trekking made all my children feel at ease and capable, especially my 4 year old...More

My son and his girlfriend , never having ridden before, enjoyed a wee taster half hour today. Margie was very friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend. Good value too. Thanks again Margie- especially with our short notice.

Visited this riding centre on a recent trip to the area. Has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The lady that runs it is very accommodating and warm. All of the ponies seemed happy and well looked after and were safe and sensible. (As horses can be!)...More
