We cycled the mountain bike trails here in a large family group, splitting up into those following the red trail (difficult) and those following the green trail (easy), after the taster route. We all had great fun cycling at our own level. The trails were...More

We went from the Dalbeattie town part of the forest as better for walkers and dogs (2 mins in car). What a lovely walk this is in the forest and there is a nice Loch too. Really worth a visit if your in the area.

Spent a couple of hours round the red route. Nothing to technical and really good flowing natural trails. Thoroughly enjoyed the trails and would recommend.

We're fairly novice riders and we think a lot of visitors here would be experienced mountain bikers but the taster loops were excellent. Excellent signposting but probably not for beginner riders. The older kids loved this and of course there's the famous slab.
