We briefly visited the Tarbet Visit Scotland Information Centre and were very impressed by the service. The lady staff member had all information at her fingertips and was very knowledgeable about the area, particularly when dealing with an enthusiastic young female walker who was left in no doubt about the local walking opportunities. A highly efficient first class service and friendly attitude.

Oh my goodness the hotel was beautiful, clean, the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The bar and restaurant was well managed and the food was good. But nothing can compare to the setting of the hotel one word breathtaking set on Loch Lomond the views were amazing. There are bus stops right outside the hotel just perfect for traveling from Glasgow. Love it.

Like many other information centres around Scotland that are all very good and informative with advice and leaflets for visitors. You can get a nice tea and snack here too

This was the old tourist information office I believe - now a small cafe serving hot drinks and food. Good for a quick cup of tea and slice of cake after a walk!

Very helpful staff,
A good looking port for photo opportunities, plenty of places to sit and drink and eat and watch the world go by. Shopping for presents etc is well catered for. There is a co-op where you can stock up on food etc if self catering or camping. Parking is free along the harbour side but is generally taken.
