We stayed near Luss for our honeymoon and found ourselves in the village several times. The village is very pretty, with little flowery cottages and gorgeous views of the Loch, the islands and Ben Lomond. We took a ferry across from Luss to Balmaha and...More
If you were simply reviewing this humble pier on its style and structure, it would rate as rather average. When you add the stunning location into the mix however, you certainly have to give it some extra Brownie points.
We made a trip to Luss as we had heard so much about it and found it to meet all our expectations. It was a wet day but that did not spoil our visit.

We went to Luss Pier and caught a boat around the islands. The pier was easy to get to from the Luss car park and straight forward to use to board the boat. The views over Loch Lomond are breath taking.

Yes there is a parking area just past the road to the pier( coming from Glasgow direction )that you can walk through to the few shops and pier and also you can park in the road leading down to the pier but those spaces fill up quickly. We parked in the parking area and it was a Sunday the charge was £1 for 24 hrs. Hope this helps.
