Buy the walking guide from the outdoor shop for £3 and take your pick. The old railway walks are best.

We have done some wonderful walks during our few days in Killin. There are a variety of walks and we enjoyed them all.

The views are just amazing and if you like the outdoors then you can do gentle walks, big mountain treks, cycle some great roads without the hassle of vehicles. Care though you will have to do a bit of climbing. I love it.

We did a walk to Finlarig castle with young children, and they loved it. Plenty of hills out there if you want though!

We did the short walk from Killin to and along to top side of the Loch, great if you are staying in Killin and want a short walk.

The great thing about the hills around Loch Tay is their accessibility due to the high car opark on the side of Ben Lawers. Killin has some good cafes. The Ptarmigan Ridge is a classic scramble.
