I stumbled upon this wee gem of a beach not too long ago, just exploring the area. While the well-known beach at Oldshoremore had sixty plus people on it, this was deserted. Such a beautiful beach, and the lack of tourists just added to it....More

Visited here whilst stopping in nearby Oldshoremore. Accessed via a footpath which takes you down to the beach itself. A large beach which we had to ourselves and the dog. Sands pristine and clean condition.

Polin Beach is in a small cove by the hamlet of Polin. With only space available for a small number of cars and via a footpath down to the beach it is breathtaking. A large beach at low tide with turquoise sea.

This beach is always magical and always empty! Look at the panorama pictures of it and I defy anyone to say that there is not something extremely special about this beach.
