A great resource for kids for a hands on expierience and a background on the author Gavin Maxwell. The tour of the Island Eilean Ban and the exhibition are great even the Stevenson Lighthouse. We have stayed on the Island for the last 7 years...More

Excellent and informative display about the author, Gavin Maxwell, otters and the local environment. This would be particularly good for children with lots of things to touch and feel.

We were at a loss to find something to fill in a short stay and hoped to get some ideas here. We found the lady in attendance helpful but really unable to provide much in the way of an option. So....nothing ventured, nothing gained but...More

The idea of the centre is good enough but when arranging the tour they offered we were let down as the guide didn't turn up! Managed to get a refund though by the lovely lady in the shop. Hope they get better organised as it...More
