Hello, my name is Chris and I am thinking seriously about doing the Castles and Whiskey trail with HU next July 2019. Has anyone done this and can let me know of their experience? I will be coming from the USA so this will be a significant holiday for me. I read many of the reviews on Trip Advisor, including the negative ones which discussed issues of strangles at the stable, short handed staff, horses difficult to handle, etc. I was impressed that each negative review got a lengthy answer. I have ridden on several UK vacations and many in the USA. I have learned that each stable or ranch or farm does things differently and each one thinks its way is best for the circumstances. I like to think I can adapt and enjoy the differences. I would appreciate any advice, comments or recommendations. Thank you all very much.
