It’s a pity I couldn’t give a lower rating. Disgusting that this murderer has a statue. Utterly disgraceful.

What a great walk remember to bring descent footwear its very good and great for your lungs wife found it hard but just go for it excellent views

We didn't go up to the monument itself but it can be seen from just about anywhere in the area. Has a love or hate relationship with the town's people due to his policies.

Demolition/destruction often mentioned due to the connection with the Highland Clearances. Another point of view given to me by a local resident was - keep it there so we never forget. History as they say is written by the victor.

A very large statue visible from a long way off and best viewed from a distance. Not worth the long journey to see close up.
