It doesn't take long to walk round this lovely little garden dedicated to the memory of John Lennon. Easily missed on the way from Durness to Smoo Cave, it's worth a stop to pay your respects.A bit neglected now but you can still see the...More

Lennon wasn't my favourite Beatle. This is a modest memorial, created by the local community marking JL's visits to his cousin who lived here. Words from a Rubber Soul track. Garden not looking at its best in mid-October. [Word is that JL visited some years...More

Nice to think he loved the place and the locals have kept this garden. Small, but peaceful. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit but as we were passing it made for a pleasant enough few minutes.

Always wanted to see this Memorial Garden to John Lennon but Durness is a long way away. My wife and I with two friends decided to travel the North Coast 500 and of course, my chance to see this Memorial Garden. It was amazing. Could...More

Nice garden with tenuous link to John Lennon. Only requires a few minutes to walk round but nicely laid out.

Imagine....Finding a memorial garden to John Lennon on the Northern edge of Scotland, but the link is there if you read the plaque. If you are passing, call and spend 5 minutes, and that is all it will take. Don’t go out of your way...More

A lovely peaceful garden, well designed and I am sure John would love it. The verses on the standing stones were lovely.
