Stunning views all around...but for hikes, this is serious business and could be very dangerous. We drove by and got out for photos. Again, stunning.

Even though Ben Stack is not a munro the climb is quite demanding. Most of the climb is through boggy ground so make sure you wear fitting boots. The start of the track was a bit hard to find, as it is not signposted. It...More

On our tour of North Coast 500 we took a number of minor detours to take in the Munro s and corbetts. Not time to climb but to look at and wonder. These three destinations say it all about this lovely part of Scotland

It took three attempts to get to the summit due to bad weather, but it was well worth our efforts as the views all around are magnificent.

A very convenient climb right by the side of the road. Not too taxing and in good weather would give good views! Eagles in the area too (and some low flying aircraft occasionally).
