My wife snd I walked all round thr northern 2/3rds of the island. Including the nature reserve. Rather easy walking. Saw skuas, seals, auks, kittywakes, terns and many other types of birds. And 1 other person in several hrs.

Stay the night at the Hostel (Beltane House) Guided tours Wednesday and Saturday. Book through Beltane House and island tour with Bird Reserve in the afternoon.

The RSPB North Hill Reserve is a protected are at the northern end of Papa Westray. The landscape is magnificent (it is an SSSI) The Sea Cliffs are awesome - with large numbers of sea birds - We saw Terns, Guillemots, Skuas and Puffins .....More
