This is the second review I have done for this stunning place. I could just sit here for hours, I find it a very peaceful place. A bit busier now due to the game of thrones but still as stunning. My favourite place.

It is worth the drive to this beautiful habour. Good reason it was chosen for some scenes in Game of Thrones.

This is the spot used for the Iron Isles location in GoT - it's a small harbour and beach of amazing natural beauty worth a stop when doing the causeway coastal route.

This was a great little spot with tremendous views. It is perfect to come over to here while you are waiting for your timed slot at Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. We had a couple of hours to kill before our timed slot and came over here....More

Ballintoy is on the wonderful coastal path walk, which takes you down a steep winding road towards the harbour. Beware upsetting local residents. Stood in a layby just above the harbour admiring the wonderful view, a resident took objection, and rather than asking us to...More

Great views and nice small cafe here. Famous now for film location for game of thrones. Worth a quick stop!

The rock formations and views at Ballintoy make the journey very much worthwhile. We were there late in the evening so there were less people. A beautiful place to explore with the caves, the sea, and the rocks, surrounded by green fields full of sheep...a...More

It's a very winding road down to the harbour and the road is very narrow but well worth it. The harbour is beautiful and there is a cafe and public toilets there. Nice to spend a bit of time exploring the caves and rocks there....More

We were taken to Ballintoy Harbour by a friend who knew we would appreciate a beautiful setting and great food in the little cafe there. We enjoyed our day visit to the cafe there so much that we went back again before they closed at...More

No tour taken - not needed if you do any research. Spend as long - or as little - a time as you want. Walking and looking and relaxing are difficult to quantify. I can imagine some spending 5 minutes, taking photo and... More
