We've been to Wareham many times but this walk offered a totally different viewpoint. Of course, it helps when the sun shines like it did this morning but we thoroughly enjoyed a stroll that gave us the opportunity to see the sleepier parts of Wareham....More

I often walk back from Wareham shops along the walls in either direction. Always something to see, birds, Deer etc. Unless you know before hand, some might expect stone walls and not a grassed earth bank. It has been here for over a thousand years...More

These things are hard to review as this historical landmark means different things to different people. For me as a local it is an excellent walk for the dog whilst I take in the incredible history of Wareham which was once an extremely important port....More

We didn't know of its existence and only discovered it whilst looking for a car park. Although not a great monument it provides an insight into an earlier and more dangerous age.

Lovely walk but needs some TLC to make it really good. More information signs and better care of the banks.
