There is a well trodden path from Swanage to Studland that takes you past Harry's Rocks. By the time we got to the start of Studland Beach we didn't have the energy to walk along it unfortunately.

This is a beautiful walk, wonderful views of Old Harry Rocks, the rugged coast, and down into Swanage. Keep control of youngsters as there are no fences along the coastal path.

The weather was chilling although in spite of the bitterly cold wind, it did not detract from the amazingly beautiful scenery and extraordinary coastline. The paths are well signposted and an abundance of facilities at Lulworth.

Beautiful unspoilt walk by the coast. Well trodden path with amazing views. Plenty of pubs near the start to get snacks!

The walk was not too strenuous and once we got to the top we were impressed with the wonderful views of Swanage which is a traditional old seaside town.

We were doing the walk from Swanage to Bournemouth so this trail formed part of that. Well worth a look in any season, great views out to sea, varied habitats for wildlife and a few birds to see on our visit.

Great walk - not too difficult although steep going down into Swanage - lots of benches and places to stop and catch your breath!

Basically head North from the seafront at Swanage and up Ulwell road for a bit then turn right through a caravan park. Path is well marked and heads uphill over fields towards Old Harry Rocks which is a bit of a pull. Take... More
