Lovely sandy beach with adequate parking - free to National Trust members. You need to get there early as it gets very crowded quickly.
Small NT shop and café, otherwise quiet, with views across to Poole.

You can reach this fanastic beach via a short Bus ride on the open top 50 Bus or drive & park for free on the roadside. Views from this beach are great - Sandbanks posh houses & the many boats to n from Poole harbour...More
We jumped on a bus at the Swanage station stop and got delivered a short walk from South Beach without having a clue where to get off to reach south Beach - that's an indication that you don't even need to plan your route, get...More
I generally go to South Beach as it’s quieter, but smaller & shadier than the other beaches.
The sea is shallow, with few waves, so warm and easy for young children to gain confidence.
Joe’s cafe is nice and provides beach toys for the kids...More
We visited the South Knoll beach which was lovely. The National Trust do a fantastic job of keeping the place clean. All the facilities were in good working order which, considering the amount of people using the place, was no mean feat. You do need...More

As you drive or walk off the chain ferry at the studland side, go straight up the long road past the toll booth and car park on left. You will come to a bus stop called 'Jerrys point' on the left. At the bus stop there is a couple of railing gates so you go through them and keep walking about 900 metres over stoney and eventually deep sandy path then when you get to the end of that path, you are on the nudist beach. Have a great time laying naked in the sun and nude swimming, very liberating. Enjoy my friend!
