As you wander through the quarry you never know what you will see. Lovely butterflies and wild plants. Interesting to see how the layers of stone have been excavated

Well used paths meander around the reserve, and popular with friendly locals. We've visited this reserve several times over the years and it's good way to see how nature is reclaiming the land back.

Walked in the area whilst looking for geocaches, it was very interesting and the paths were easy to follow. It seemed reasonably accessible for buggies etc... and there were only a few large puddles despite downpours every morning. We enjoyed the flora and fauna too...More

If you failed to visit this lovely place,you will have missed a golden opportunity to see some truly lovely and beautiful aspects of this small but unusual Nature Reserve.On a summers day this place would have been a haven of wonders.
