This beach is easily missed. The parking is free, but across the road. The view from above the beach is beautiful, however the walk down is steep, but paved. The beach is covered in pebbles, although there is some sand.

Visited here yesterday on the way back from Portland Bill. There is a small free car park on the opposite side of the road, but we managed to get parked up straight away. Cross the road from the car park and head towards the museum...More
There is a lot to see at this stop. The Cove is a small beach, and you must take steps down to it. There are also castle ruins and church ruins to see, as well as the Portland Museum. Well worth a stop
Really enjoyed a quick dip here in the afternoon. It is a nice rocky beach welcome for dogs and with plenty to see along the coast in both directions. Be ready for a bit of a walk in, and around to properly enjoy it.
