We passed this interesting secluded cove as we walked around the island as part of our SWCP adventure. Lots of cabins but still a tranquil place to get away from things.

Not sure what the hype is here, down a path and lots of stairs, pass through an iteresting derelict church and grave yard, pass lots of random wooden sheds and arrive on the pebble beach, there is a toilet block and thats it, I guess...More

Park in the free car park marked church ope. Cross the road then go to the museum. Continue walking down the steep footpath past the castle ruin. You will need to be physically fit to do this. The cove is large pebble, rock. Have fun...More

a peaceful cove usually off the beaten track of the tourist! a great place to visit don't forget to look out of the pirate gravestones on the decent to the cove when you pass through the ruin church!

What a lovely place to visit. The church is a ruin, but well worth seeing. It's a steep walk down to the little cove but beautiful when you get there!!

What an absolutely lovely tranquil place with stunning views of the coast, cove and surrounding area. The steps down are steep and not for the faint hearted. There are no real sign posts to the derelict church which can be found 2/3rds of the way...More

Hi, if you go to Portland Museum you can get to the beach via a pathway and theres a stairway down the cliffs leading to the cove .
