A really interesting Italian style church in a village normally driven through without a second thought. Well worth a stop.

This small Catholic Church is tucked right away in North Chideock and is a little gem. It is dedicated to the "Chideock Martyrs" who died for their faith in the 16th century. Adjacent to the church itself is a permanent exhibition relating to the martyrs

An accidental find tucked away on our walking route . A real surprise to find this beautiful Italian style building, and to read the history of the Catholic martyrs. Well worth a visit. There is also a small museum about the Chiswick area.
