This is always a good day trip, the kids love it especially when we take a picnic with us. So much to see and do and nice place to take beautiful pictures. Best time to go is at feeding time, kids enjoy that the most.

Make sure you get there for feeding time (kids get a chance to feed them) very interesting talk from the guide. It’s a little pricey, but a part from that a good place to go.

A beautiful setting, and great education for us all. We were lucky to view a variety of different species of birds, which frankly you’d be lucky to see so easily at rspb sites. Photographically it would be great to spend some time on out of...More

This place was special, especially if you are into photography. Make sure you go there for feeding time, as this will make photo magic. We were here during a brief cruise stop with Oceana. Although it was not easy getting here on our own, with...More

The whole family visited the swannery and there was a lot to see and we were lucky enough to see a display of birds of prey brought by Dorset Wildlife Trust. A real adventure for children.

Worth a visit, provided you time it to coincide with feeding times (currently 1200 and 1600). Pleasant stroll through the grounds getting to the waterfront etc. We were lucky in being there at feeding time, otherwise like many others, I would probably say the place...More

A lovely place to see the swans in their own inhabitant. take a ride on the cart at a small fee.sovenir shop. You will neec a car to get to the swannery.

At £12.50 for entrance, is far too expensive ! I can see plenty of Swans on my local canal ! I do beleive entrance to some sub tropical gardens is included in the price, but I still feel this is all overpriced.

Been wanting to go here for years and finally made it and I was not disappointed. Had a wonderful time wandering around taking photos. Well worth the visit, especially if you bought the 'passport ticket' which gives you entry to the subtropical gardens and the...More
