We visited Knightshayes on the most perfect autumn day and felt so utterly blessed. The house is stunning on its own but to be able to wander through the beautiful gardens and park were a treat. Then to top it off we had an excellent...More

Such a beautiful place to visit. The houses is wonderful. Love the ceilings and Gothic style architecture. The gardens are stunning and there is a lovely walled kitchen garden. Well worth a visit. Will definitely be visiting again, I loved it.

Very lucky with the weather which made things easier strolling around the gardens. The Kitchen garden is something special and it was great seeing the grapevines. The house itself holds a lot of history of the Heathcoat family and its works with the town of...More

This is a National Trust property. The house is a very interesting Victorian Gothic creation with much to see. There is a walled vegetable garden and many walks in the grounds. There is also a stables cafe and shop. We really enjoyed our visit.

This property is very large and you could do lots of walking here. We enjoyed going through the house, which has some interesting detail. There is a nice walled garden, plus a bit of formal garden and plenty of woods. We loved the animal characters...More

I have been here a number of times to walk the dog in the huge woods. I have yet to visit the house, but still find it a lovely day out. Nice little cafe and shop too.

I am an NT member of longstanding but I wasn't wowed by this property. Its a grade1 listed example of the work of William Burges and others but for all the quirkiness it isn't that big or engaging. The gardens were a little past their...More

Another wonderful estate as you become accustomed to when managed by the National Trust. The house is most impressive and as always the volunteers are always on hand to answer questions and offer information. Hats off to them, they were very knowledgeable and friendly and...More

The pay barrier is in the stable block, near the shop and cafe, between the main car park and the house. There is a car park just on the left inside the estate entrance, which is perfect for walking in the park, so you can... More

The cafe is in the old stable block. One way in takes you through the pay barrier, but the cafe courtyard is open from the other side, so you can just walk round the building to get into the courtyard and cafe. It's a... More

If I'm honest I couldn't answer these I'm sure they have something. Worth ringing them up and asking though it's a must visit.
