A quick visit to South Molton, and we found this gem of a place. Lots of interesting exhibits to suit all interests and our 10 year old had fun finding the answers to the clues! Definitely worth a visit.
Please Do ask the very genteel and friendly lady at the desk for am activity sheet or game for your kids. Makes this museum much more interesting and easy to spend 40 minutes or more inside notwithstanding it's small surface area. Lovely artifacts of country...More
It's full of interesting things, with lovely friendly volunteers. Items are nicely labelled (brief but interesting) and there are quite a few fire engines!! But also lots of other things so your sure to find something of interest to everyone even though it's quite small....More

I've been to the pannier market several times. The stalls vary from nik naks to fruit and veg and even a dog friendly treat stall. There is a coffee and cake shop within the pannier market that has seating surrounding it which always seems busy....More
