Visited Exmouth as part motorhome road trip around Devon and Cornwall with wife and two daughters. Parked up on the seafront and walked along the beach. Weather was amazing, cold, sunny and blue sky - perfect!
Visited for day and little one loved it. It was deserted and the tide out so fun was had.
Not many facilities open as late October. Would recommend visiting in season.

I love Exmouth beach, all 2 miles of it. Lifeguards patrol in the summer and on Christmas day the whole town seems to go for a swim! Be careful of the tides which can be strong. I miss the donkey rides and the children's activity...More
