Overview
More
This South West Coast Path walk starts and ends at Dawlish Railway Station and takes in both the development of Dawlish since the 1800s as well as the attractive Old Town. The route is generally flat and undemanding along pavements or tarmac footpaths. Where there are no pavements, any roads walked on are quiet and usually traffic free.

We spent a lovely afternoon sitting by the Lake and watching the Black Swans. Such a lovely place that is also surrounded by nice little quaint shops.

Dawlish is a beautiful town with lovely water running through the middle. There are black swans and several shops a nice stony beach to skim to stones.

So nice to see the ducks, swans and cygnets in the sun swimming happily, we looked in the aviary and saw some cute ducks and ducklings enjoying the water and shade. Its lovely to just enjoy the peace and clean environment on a day out.

Staying in Dawlish Warren we spent a day in Dawlish Town. Walked along the river and through the park. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The Black Swans were on the river along with their cygnets. Beautiful, Devon at its best.
