Dartmeet is a picturesque location that's well worth a visit. While here I would recommend going for the short walk to Badgers Holt for a cream tea as well, you won't be disappointed!

There’s not many places where you can paddle in a river. You can easily spend a couple of hours and for free apart from the cost for parking, it’s clear water and great fun for the kids!

Beautiful place I was surprised it was not to busy.I assume it could be heaving on a hot sunny day with all that water to play in .Parking is so good and so cheap so you cannot complain.Worth a visit

This is a good place for exploring and letting kids roam safely on the rocks in the river. Always go here.

Not much to see (unless you fancy a walk up river - we didn't) but what's there is charming. Parking fees are steep but if you fancy a picnic by the river (and don't mind the car park) this is the place for you.

Stunning but avoid busy times to get the full impact. Also some irresponsible dog owners around which can be a bit annoying for walkers and wild animals. As you get away from car park then things improve a lot.

Stopped off as my daughter spotted the river and wanted to explore the rocks so parked up and she enjoyed an hour of rock hopping, balancing across the river and generally appreciating the natural world around us. It was lovely to sit on the side...More
