Please do not take offense to this, I'm an African American. Would they allow us to visit as well? I love history and have always followed their stories and reality show. I would love to tour the community and patronize some of the businesses.

The welcome center was full of nothing but Amish made items. Furniture, soaps, clothes, quilts, toys, candle, kitchen utensils, etc. I definitely recommend it is you want authentic Amish items. The wagon tour was so much fun! We got to stop at real Amish farms...More

The Welcome center was somewhat of a flee market and a catch-all, though I did find a few little things to purchase:) Wasn’t interested in a buggy ride. The drive around the homes visiting the Amish surprised us😮They all sold just about the same items😕...More

Really enjoyed this tour''. Our guide was from here so we got a lot of interested information about the Amish'. It was 2 hour tour worth ever penny- will do it again!!!!

You have several options in Ethridge for wagon tours...But this one is the best as it is run by local people who have lived their whole lives in Lawrence Co. Friendly, knowledgeable, and will provide you with a free map so you can can shop...More

This amish heritage welcome center is the oldest and only museum farmhouse. They still use horse buggies and sleep in covered wagons

I would take I-65 N to exit 1 toward Lawrenceburg. Take US 64 to US 43. Go north through Lawrenceburg it is less than 5 miles out of town on your left. Bring cash for shopping from the Amish. Fruits, veggies and other goods.
