We did the hike while the sun was rising. The hike is not easy on your feet. There are a ton of roots you have to go over and some pretty tall steps. Definitely worth the view though.

Beautiful location with several swimming holes. There are a few jump options ranging from 5 to 50 feet, but the 30 foot one is dangerous because you may hit a rock if you jump incorrectly. Personally, I loved how doable the trail was and that there were a few places where if you veered off the trail, you would find a natural water slide or another place to jump. My only reservation is that it is a bit tricky to find the parking lot especially if it is getting dark, but otherwise it is a great adventure for families, couples, or by yourself as well. As a side note, there are stairs that can be quite difficult at times when they are slippery so this is not a handicap accessible place.
I plan on going back next time I am visiting Tennessee.

Went down in my flip flops..bad idea. Trail should be done with shoes! Was pretty steep but doable. I hate heights so let the spouse go down the steps to the hole. Out of the way but a must see. Disappointed to see all the trash .Very cool place, but be careful driving up!

We also visited the Twisted Falls. The walk down was a piece of cake to the Blue Hole Falls. My grandson jumped off the cliff into the water.

Do not miss this freebie. Stunningly beautiful, one of the best I've seen. Romance is in the air. The parking is not clearly marked, and the short path leading to the fall is full of tree roots so be careful. But once you get there inner contentment you'll find. The path leading to the overlook is a must see also, not as heavily traveled, and about half the distance. Take your camera, you'll need it.

Very easy short hike but there are steps that are quite tall for short legs. This was my favorite waterfall on this trip which included 8 waterfalls.

We took this hike because we were traveling and need something to do, so happy we went with this location! It was an easy hike down to the first fall, after that the next few get a little tricky but if you done have physical limitations take the trail on down! We didn’t swim but there were kids there in the water hole, our dog thoroughly enjoyed herself.

This is such a beautiful and serene setting. I was so very lucky to have been born in this town. It will always be my true home, no matter where I am.

Head up what the locals call Stoney Creek up aways and u will find a sign that says "Blue Hole" curious to see this thing we followed the signs to a pull off. We parked and began the rather steep incline towards the top it was not recommend for under 8. But upon arriving at the top there was a beautiful spring falls rising maybe 35ft up from the bottom it was quite the sighth the water was ice cold the rock forms a single person slideto the hole at the bottom nice spot for pictures.

We were camping at the Bristol race and decide to go find a swimming hole. Blue hole is beautiful Many waterfalls. 2 high cliffs you can jump off. Short walk, but steep. Bring water shoes. Not crowded.
