A fantastic museum not only about gold mining on Finland, but all over the world. Especially great in winter, as there are no mosquitoes to snack on you. Make sure to try gold panning yourself - it is great fun!

This International Gold Prospector Museum is extremely interesting. It tells about gold panning and prospecting in over 20 countries, especially in Finnish Lapland. This area has been a traditional gold panning area and you may also try gold panning in Stream Hopiaoja (extra charge).
