On this visit to the area we stayed in Mount Pleasant so we crossed the bridge numerous times. Great views. Great to see the locals use the pedestrian walkway.

The Ravenel is a landmark that can be seen from miles away. No matter what angle, it’s a beatiful winged fantasy. It’s also wide enough to accommodate heavy traffic, with easy approaches on each side.

This is an excellent bridge. They have a parking area so you can take a stroll, or a bicycle ride over the bridge. Enjoy.

Love the design of the bridge. Went across the bridge several times. While on our habor boat tour we got to go under the bridge also, different view for sure.

We parked on the Mount Pleasant side in a great little park. (Free parking) Then we hiked to the apex of the bridge. (The length is over 2 miles). At the apex you get some awesome views. It's a great place to check out.

This bridge is “up there “ with the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco as a must see . It truly is a marvel of engineering & beauty.

It does seem a bit odd to review a bridge, but the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is quite a spectacular one. Since we stayed in Mt. Pleasant during our visit to Charleston, we traveled across the bridge 4 times. It is a beautiful structure and...More

This is a beautiful piece of architecture. Traffic both ways moves well with four wide lanes. Plus no tolls. I liked it.

This is a beautiful long bridge that we drove over several times on our visits to and from Charleston and Mount Pleasant. Maybe one day we'll walk it.

Thank Ramblur

The bicycle and pedestrian lane is 2.7 miles long, measuring from Patriots Point Road to East Bay Street. Measuring only the part that is on the bridge structure, the walkway is 2.4 miles long.
