Our driver B.T. was very professional and knowledgeable with plantation history. The walk around the gardens with him was informative. The tram ride with the plantation staff was too long. It would be better to be able to go visit the slave cabins. We then...More

I utilized this company for a tour of the Magnolia Plantation and would say it was disappointing. The tour driver began the tour late and it was rushed from that point forward. Her driving was on the verge of scary as she weaved in and...More

Thank you for taking our tour to Magnolia Plantation and for leaving your feedback. While there occasional issues with tours departing a bit after 10:30 due to traffic or waiting for all guests to arrive (within reason), we do have plenty of time to reorganize...More

We did the Magnolia planation tour and liked our tour driver Valerie so much we did the city tour with her the next day. On the Magnolia planation tour I was especially impressed that Valerie pointed out things about the Gullah culture. As an African...More

Ok, so my review is not really about the tour itself. The reason is, for most of the tour I was just wanting it to be over. The reason was, I was so uncomfortable on the bus. It was a hot day, and so was...More

Our drive was loud and obnoxious and tried too hard to be funny. Magnolia Plantation may have once had beautiful gardens (you can spot them in the old pictures displayed in the house), but they have been neglected for a long time. The nature ride...More

Boone Hall is a lovely place to visit. The drive up to the house through the avenue of oaks is just magnificent! I think the highlight, though, has to be the slave quarters. From Nancy White’s sweetgrass baskets to the wonderfully rich storytelling of the...More

My husband and I were eager to learn more about Charleston since we plan on moving here. We weren’t disappointed. Our tour was amazing thanks to Valerie! Her tour was much more than we could have imagined- inciteful, colorful, extremely comprehensive. We left really feeling...More

We did the package tour of the Boon Hall and the city. We decided it was too much in one day and the company allows you to break them up over time. Don't know if I would book a package next time, or just single...More

We took this tour because Charleston was rainy that day. We'd taken the Gullah Tour the day prior, which was much better (though more difficult to understand). We had the "Crazy Lady" from GA as our guide on this tour. She gave fine information, but...More

We had a wonderful trip with our Crazy Lady tour guide from Columbus Georgia Valerie! She was fun, fun, fun! She gave us a wonderful ride and knew every crook and cranny of the entire area and its extensive history. If you go to Charleston...More

Very little walking required, just from the adjacent (and free) parking lot to the office to check in then from there to the boat. It may not be wheel chair accessible on the boat, you should call the company to confirm that. More

What a great question! While we certainly want to be able to accommodate all our customers, we only stop at the Battery for a few minutes during the tour for a photo opportunity. There is not a location during the tour... More
