Love that its dog friendly the entire day. My dogs loved walking around and swimming at the beach. Only downfall is the amount of bugs, so bring your bug spray!

The drive into the park is absolutely beautiful! We were joking with the ticket agent saying that it looked like a jungle scene, and she told us scenes from Forrest Gump and the live version of The Jungle Book had actually been filmed at the...More

I grew up in Beaufort so I am very partial to this state park. It is peaceful and delightful . The vegetation and animals are wonderful to view. Of course the light house is a must to see.

We have visited Hunting Island many times and are always in awe of its beauty. The beach erosion and hurricane weather have taken a major toll on the island. We have seen cabins fall into the sea, the campground nearly destroyed and the lagoon is...More

There are several listings for RV rentals in the Murrells Inlet area. I'm sure if you check around the area you can find what you need. You might check with the park office to see if they can advise you of any.
