We enjoyed a beautiful day at Hunting Island State Park and toured the lighthouse while we were there. It’s only $2.00 per person. It was fun yet a little scary climbing & up at the top. Beautiful from the top!!

It was cold and windy the day we visited but that did not deter from this wonderful lighthouse and stunning beach! The museum displays in the outbuildings were informative and really gave you a peek back into what life was like for the lighthouse keepers....More

This lighthouse is located on the north beach of the park. It is stunning! The staff were so friendly and helpful...even offering to take our photo before beginning our climb. The lighthouse is well-maintained inside and out. At the top, the view is incredible.

This was one of the most enjoyable stops we've made. The Lighthouse lies within Hunting Island State Park but $5 per person Park Entry Fee was well worth it! Be sure to stop at the Visitor's Center after entering the park as some roads remain...More

Great presentation of an historic landmark. A small poster presentation describes the life of a keeper and what it took to construct the lighthouse. Small charge to go to the top and get a birds eye view of the surroundings.

We drove out to this lighthouse from downtown Beaufort - it took about 30 minutes. It cost $14 for 4 of us to get in the park (1 adult, 3 kids), and then $8 more for all 4 of us to walk to the top...More

This is worth the trip to the state park. It's a few hours worth of entertainment to also visit the undisturbed beach and the nature center and pier which is at the second entrance just past the entrance to the state park and lighthouse. Be...More

As I understand the the lighthouse is fine, but the fence around it didn't survive. The island is devastated all the infastructure needs rebuilt. The only part of the island open is at the pier. .
