Since a child I have been swimming in all kinds of weather at Second Beach. The water is usually clean and free of seaweed, at least in some sections if not across the entire beach. Parking is easy, too even when there is a nominal...More

Honestly one of the best beaches! No facilities as we visited in September but the water was warm, clean, little seaweed and whit sand. Waves were just high enough, I only wished I could stay longer!

We went for the afternoon to walk on the beach and watch the waves. It is the off season so the beach was free. Long Beach with wide sandy area.

Great CLEAN beach, with bathhouse, outside showers and changing stalls. There are also plenty of lifeguards on duty during season. Bathhouse closes Labor Day.

The lovely curve of this beach, the colorful surfers, and the white sand make this a stunning spot to sun and play in the waves. Beware of the powerful waves. Fun for younger people to play in, but for this senior they were a little...More

Waves can be from great for boarding to almost calm but we always have a fun time. The wather is walking depth pretty far out and clarity is better than first beach. Get there early to avoid crowds on nice days and get a pass...More

I don’t know. I stayed on the main strip in Newport and it was only 12 minutes away from there.
