We turned up at 12 ish on last Saturday, only a couple of people in the bar one small dog. I asked for a small orange juice and lemonade for a lady. we paid £4.40 ! for a pint! My red Thai curry was tasty...More

Walked here from our home in sittingbourne (about 3 and a half miles, took just over an hour) on a lovely sunny afternoon. Was definitely well worth the walk! Food was excellent and lots of choice - especially loved the homemade scotch eggs! Great choice...More

We have been here twice, once for a drink in the evening and the next day, after Chris had lent me his golf set, for lunch. Good food and nice staff in a typical British pub.

We moved out of Lower Halstow about three years ago, having been a 'local' previously. The food is still amazing, the service is fantastic and the pub is gorgeous. All in all, it must be one of the best food pubs in the area.

Just don't go past this pub. Food and choice of beer is just wonderful. A great British village pub full of charm and a welcoming atmosphere. Eat and drink here you will not be disappointed

After having a lovely ploughmans in my previous review ,we decided to return for sunday roast today......avoid at all costs,meat tough,yorkshire burnt ,hard veg ,potatoes very poor,we will not be returning ...other people left their meals as well.It was the worst sunday lunch ive ever...More

All in all very impressed. Out with extended family for an evening out. Good service, food excellent and reasonably priced, drink extremely good value. Pool table for the kids, excellent juke box. Really really happy with the whole experience.
