Good Stop IF you're in the area
Jun 2021
We stopped here to catch the sunrise as we were camping nearby at East Beach Holiday Park.
It was a cold and windy morning with a clear sky, so quite ideal for the blowholes. Its a short boardwalk (5 mins) from the light house and you get to see the blowholes with the lighthouse as your backdrop.
Would stop here only if you're in the area or passing through. Was beautiful at sunrise.

Great to watch
Jun 2021 • Couples
Probably Kiamas most popular attraction for all ages.
Only a short walk from the towns shopping area.
Plenty of free parking right next to the blow hole.
All depends on swell and tide conditions for the size of the spray from the blow hole.

Try to visit when there's a big swell and enjoy the lighthouse and Cliff views also .

Nice walk
Apr 2021 • Couples
Walking around the area was really nice not too much to see when it came to the blowhole as the weather was very calm, but still a must see if visiting kiama.

Very cool

You could stay here for ages, it's an awesome spot to watch. Also the little blow hole is just as good! Right near the main street and plenty of space to watch if it is a busy day.

Spectacular water works
Feb 2021
This was very good to see, especially because it was showing us all her glory and doing excellent displays. We also travelled further around to the "mini" blowhole which was also spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Visit Kiama, see the blowhole
Dec 2020
Every time I visit Kiama, I go to the blowhole because that's what you when you visit Kiama.

Seeing and hearing the blowhole in action is interesting, provided the sea is rough.

Great to visit to hear the "Woomp" as the water rushes up into the air
Jan 2021
great to get up fairly close to the action - safety fences are great! Can get windy though. Easy to park close-by. Lovely Marina close by, and also the bay where you can see string rays and seals up close, in the wild. Apparently also great to view at night, however, we didn't have a chance due to the age of our children at the time.

Blowhole
Feb 2021
Nothing happening while there as the sea was too calm but lovely scenery. Worth a visit just to walk around headland.

Natural attraction, the power of the sea!
Jan 2021 • Couples
The activity of the blue blow hole depends on the waves and the wind. We stayed three days in Kiama and each time the blow hole did not disappoint. The helpful Tourist Information Centre is also here, plus the Pilot's Cottage Museum worth a look for the history of Kiama (not really a kids museum though).
