As a visitor to the area I can never get fed up of going on the Torpoint Ferry. You only pay the £1.50 cost going into Plymouth. Very efficient loading and unloading. 8 mins later you arrive at your destination. Saves lots of time.

So I was traveling from Exeter to Torpoint. Decided to take the ferry rather than the longer route over the bridge. It's free from Plymouth to Torpoint and in a car is £1.50 return. Absolute bargain. The que in the morning was quite busy, but...More

Still a great way to enter Fowey seeing all the boats and sea front houses - but so expensive £5 per car.

Very quick and efficient. 15 mins crossing time if you time it right. Several vessels running at a time so wait for one to come in is not that long. Free to come into Cornwall- £1-50 a car to leave.

This crossing is very easy, there are a couple of ferries going back and forth here, and you don't usually have long to wait unless it's peak times. People use this for a work commute so avoid the usual rush hour times. It's easy to...More

A way to get to work normally. Takes around 10 mins to get across but don't forget waiting time before getting on, not normally too long unless after 6pm. A lovely way to travel across to Torpoint from Plymouth or vv for tourists, or little...More

Used the ferry to travel from Devonport to Torpoint to run at a parkrun at Mount Edgcumbe. Ferry on time and easy crossing.

Had free crossing Sunday morning from Plymouth to Torpoint ... unsure why. Paid on way back later. Signs warned of delays but didn’t experience one. Great views up and down river.
