Although small the staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. There is a lot of information here and a computer showing ship movement in the area . Much about the lighthouse history. One of the lady's here is the first woman light housekeeper in the country....More

This is a great spot. Fantastic lighthouse commanding the cliff. Really interesting to look around. And some fantastic Ice Creams too.

We took the tour and it was fascinating, the why's the wherefores, the history, absolutely worth every penny. One of those tip of the iceberg experiences that reinforces how little we know. Top tip don't ask about the American DGPS. Shhhhhhh.

Drove from Carbis Bay to see the lighthouse and heritage centre only to find it closed, (11.30am, 1st May 2018). The weather was blustery, drizzly and a bit chilly, but nothing cataclysmic, and the roads around the area were perfectly clear. No stray cattle making...More

We were lucky enough to be the only three on the tour and our guide was very informative and welcoming. As it is not a Rock lighthouse the climb is only two and half flights of steps so very accessible for able-bodied but old people....More

Lovely welcome from both Don and Caroline. Sadly, it was slightly hazy and we didn't get to see any dolphins but the tour of the lighthouse by Caroline was extremely informative. Well worth the climb to the top and well worth the visit.

Not part of the National Trust so there is an additional entrance charge to pay. We were lucky enough to arrive just as a tour was setting out which we joined. Caroline was lovely and gave us lots of interesting information. We then strolled around...More

We arrived at the Lighthouse along with a number of other families at 11. We had checked beforehand on the website and there was nothing to indicate it would be closed. Opening hours on the gate and in the door to the shop/ticket office suggested...More

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your recent visit to Lizard Lighthouse. Our operators were delayed owing to unforeseeable livestock movements on the narrow approach and unfortunately this delayed the opening of the centre. We hope that you will return and experience...More
