part of the SW Coast Path, a little haven on the way, with the added advantage of the Hidden Hut, a great rustic beach restaurant with surprisingly gourmet food!

This is a lovely beach--sheltered, lots of sand at low tide. People were having picnics, playing cricket, and swimming. There is a cafe and toilets just above the beach. Park at the lot just before Portscatho and walk back to the beach.

Beautifully sheltered cove with a sandy beach, a stream runnning through, and a cafe on the hill. There is almost no parking at the Rosevine approach, better to park up on the hill and walk down the path.

we loved walking along the coast path from our hotel to this beach and further; wonderfully unspoiled coast line along here.

Nice beach where the water is calm. Dogs are allowed. It's not too busy and there is a refreshment hut just behind the beach.

Lovely boutique beach. Great water quality. Nice sand. Interesting rock pools. We sat on the beach with a coffee from the "Hidden Hut" watching the kids swimming, rock-pooling and building sand castles. Everyone was in view and we didn't have to worry about losing anyone.

This is by far a beautiful place to come, with great scenery and coastal paths and hidden public houses along the way.

Potentially, a hidden gem: sand, rock pools, The Hidden Hut nearby. Tides can severely limit amount of beach available.

I visited this lovely beach on a walk towards Portscatho from the Driftwood Hotel where I was staying for a couple of nights in late October. It was virtually empty and seemed that it was probably quite quiet even in high season - must return...More
